Christine has managed her creative and artistic skills into versatile and colorful 2D & 3D wool needlecraft. Christine Hsiao currently teaches Adults & Young Artist programs of Needle Felting classes at The Art School at Old Church in Demarest, NJ; Needle Felting Club at the Tenafly Maugham Elementary School and the Tenafly Stillman Elementary School, Workshop at the Tenafly Senior Center & the Teaneck Community Education Center, plus private groups in New Jersey. Christine's workshop at the Teaneck Community Education Center has also been featured in the Teaneck Suburbanite newspaper and the Chinese World Journal newspaper.
She holds a Master’s Degree of Art in New Media and during her spare time she helps businesses develop their digital/visual design and web presence. Fluent in Chinese and competent in both Simplified & Traditional Chinese, she also teaches Chinese club & classes at the Tenafly Stillman Elementary School, Tenafly Senior Center and other private groups in New Jersey. Additionally, she published her first Android app "Cute Cat Memory Game" in the Google Play Store, in which she fully designed the visual art.

Kick off the Fall with the Art School at Old Church! Salon 561 is an annual show that showcases the wide breadth of knowledge, mediums, and talent of the faculty at the Art School at Old Church. A great opportunity to meet the instructors, who are among many local professional artists devoting their creativity to inspiring students of all ages to experiment, indulge in new experiences, and to grow.
There will be artwork for sale in various mediums in ceramics, jewelry, photography, printmaking and needle felting displayed in the Mikhail Zakin Gallery.
